You can enjoy cross-country skiing. tobogganing and skating on the area s many small lakes in winter. The Zoo. the summer toboggan slide. the Rübeländer Stalictyte Caves and the Western Town of Pulman City are all highly recommended. Many historic cities are not far. Stolberg is 15 km away. Quedlinburg is 23 km and Wernigerode is 30 km. They are all well worth a visit.
