Situated in the town of Ohakune, on the edge of Tongariro National Park, LKNZ Lodge is within 5 minutes' walk of restaurants, bars and shops. It offers accommodation budget dormitories to private rooms spread over 3 lodges. There is an on-site cafe. The heated guest rooms are all non-smoking. Some rooms feature a balcony offering splendid views of Mount Ruapehu. Bed linen is provided and towels are available for hire. 200MB of free WiFi, per person, per day is provided. You can relax by the fireplace in the guest lounge. Coin-operated laundry facilities are also provided. The LKNZ staff can assist with information on local activities such as kayaking, river rafting, trekking and mountain climbing. The cafe offers all-day dining and guests can prepare simple meals in either of the 2 communal kitchens.

Please note that the bedding configuration is not guaranteed and will be confirmed upon arrival, subject to availability. If you expect to arrive outside reception opening hours, please inform LKNZ Lodge in advance, using the contact details found on the booking confirmation. Please note that towels are not included in the price. You can hire them from the property or bring your own. Please note that special conditions apply for the Mardi Gras period from June 24-26 2016: - A refundable NZD $50 bond is required upon check in to cover any incidental charges, damage to the property or excessive cleaning fees. This amount will be refunded after inspection of the accommodation on check out. - No alcohol may be brought onsite, with the exception of drinks purchased at the onsite licensed bar. - Only registered guests are permitted onsite, and no visitors are permitted. - Guests must sign the property's Terms of Stay on arrival. Failure to comply with property policies may result in the eviction of guests and the loss of any deposits or payments made.
